The EBA has joined Ralphs' Community Contribution Program! This means that every time you shop at Ralphs and use your Ralphs Reward Card, the EBA will receive a percentage of your purchase!

The process to connect your Reward Card to the EBA is really easy and only takes a few minutes--and you only have to do this ONCE.

1) Go to www.ralphs.com

2) Have your Ralphs Rewards Card handy (If you don't have a Ralphs Rewards card, you'll need to go to the market to get one. It's a short form that you can fill out at the customer service desk).

3) Under the "Welcome" click on "Sign In/ Register"

4) Sign up for a Ralphs online account

5) Create your Ralphs Profile Information

6) Enter the 12 digit number on the back of your card

7) Enter the security code

8) Enter your contact information

9) Confirm your information

10) Confirm the "Terms & Conditions"

11) Complete the registration

12) Go to your email and click the link to confirm your Ralphs account

13) Log in to your account

14) Go to the Community Rewards Information Area

15) Click on the Edit your Community Rewards Programs

16) Enter the EBA's number #92049

17) The EBA's information should show up - select it

18) Save your selection

19) You are done. Happy shopping, and thanks for donating!!!

It’s been a tremendous year for the EBA!

Among other accomplishments, we completed the new Emerald Bay Alumni Campfire Circle and had a record turnout at the Summer Reunion. We’ve also been working on some exciting changes for next year, and want to share a few of them with you:

The EBA Endowment

You should have received a letter in the mail recently announcing the creation of the EBA Endowment. We’re tremendously excited about this new endeavor, and hope you are too! Our initial goal is to receive donations from 500 individuals over the next two years. We’re well on our way, and if you haven’t contributed yet, please do so today! Membership Categories

The EBA’s membership is comprised of current and former staff--along with everyone who is a friend of the camp in any capacity. But we’re not just a bunch of stodgy old geezers! We are reaching out to our younger members, and we’ve created some new membership categories. From now on, we’ll be making our events more accessible to our younger members by implementing tiered pricing, along with other activities and events specifically focused on each of our membership groups:

Current Staff - If you are currently employed by Camp, or were employed during the most recent season, then you’re Current Staff! This includes Program Staff, Business Staff, Camp Management, Marine Center Staff, SCUBA Staff, Kitchen Crew, and anyone else that has worked for the camp during the most recent season. Your service to Camp is incredibly important, and we’d love for you to join our seasonal events, such as the Fall BBQ, for FREE!

Young Alumni - If you’re associated with Camp and under the age of 25, you’re Young Alumni! We know that you might not be raking in the big bucks just yet, but we do recognize your tremendous ability and zeal to support Emerald Bay in other ways! Young Alumni will be invited to our seasonal events such as the Summer Reunion and Fall BBQ at a deeply discounted rate.

General Members - What’s that? You’re over 25? Congratulations! Thank you for your continued support!

Through the amazing outpouring of support from our members, our organization has grown substantially in the recent years. As a result, it’s time we developed formal Donor Recognition Levels for the following annual donations:

We have recently joined several more online merchant affiliate programs--which gives us an increased opportunity to raise money from your everyday purchases. We have created a "Shopping Mall Portal" that you can use as a starting point whenever you shop online.

Simply visit the portal page, click on the banner for the online merchant where you want to shop, and make your purchase. You do not pay anything extra, and we get a commission from the sale. It's that simple!

This program really works! So far we have raised over $1,300 for the EBA and Camp through this program. Let's keep it up!
