Like you, I reflect on my earliest memories at Camp Emerald Bay with deep reverence.
My first time in Camp was just over 14 years ago, when I was 10 years old. That week at Emerald Bay would be my first summer camp as a Boy Scout, and immediately I felt a new kind of independence.
Leave a CommentI recall this as clearly as though it happened yesterday. It was the closing week of Camp in August 1991. We Staff had gathered at the campfire circle, arm in arm, to sing the EB Hymn. On this occasion, however, there was a profound difference.

The EBA Terrace will provide a central “outdoor living room” area where the residents of the cabins and those who visit them can come together. It will not only support camp in general, but will also be one of the greatest things that we as a community have done to date to support the current and future staff.
